Well hi everyone! Just thought I'd say hi and let you all know that I'm still alive. It's been awhile since I've written here. So I'm still in Wyoming and still loving the west tremendously, even those few mornings that get to 30 degrees below! Yes really, occasionally it is that cold here, but it doesn't seem terrible because there is very little dampness here. The deep snow is beautiful. It's not at all like in PA were it gets all slushy and dirty. It's still white even in the ranch parking lot where the snow is continually driven over! It looks like I'll be home at some point this spring or summer, perhaps for a few months, but hopefully I'll be west again soon after that. This summer and winter have been absolutely amazing. And as if finally living in the west wasn't enough, guess what? I met an amazing guy! Well, I didn't actually just "meet" him. He was a friend of my brothers and a little bit a friend of mine, the guy who we came with out west. It was only after we were out here that he let me know that he was interested in me. So we've been dating for, I guess, going on 7 months now. It's exciting; today is my first Valentines Day with a boyfriend. He brought me a rose yesterday evening and tonight he's taking me out for dinner. Oh, and one of the nice things about Jeff (my boyfriend) is, not only do I think that he's wonderful but Daddy likes him too. Whew, that worked out well!

I'm loving Wyoming! Don't expect me home any time soon!

I'll be at the ranch tomorrow! On the whole, the trip has been going well. Some problems with Chicago but I suppose that's to be expected. That part's over at least. Now we are out west! These uncrowded highways with the 75 mile an hour speed limits are great!

Well, I'm trying to get ready for this trip. Over 4 months is an awful long time to pack for. I did a lot of shopping yesterday. One of the things I got was a straw cowgirl hat. It will be great with my curls and my truck. Uh ohhhhh. I hope I don't look red neck. That would be dreadful; I've always despised that look. I suppose as long as I don't act red neck or talk red neck, it will be okay. I also finally got a digital camera. I also found out for sure that we have wireless internet access on the ranch. That makes me ever so happy!
